Sixweel 12-Speed EVO Cassettes
Rigidity Reconsidered: The Pure Performance Philosophy of Sixweel Cassettes
In competitive cycling, the cassette is the final mile of power transfer. Facing the extreme torsional stress of a bunch sprint or shifting under maximum load, a cassette cannot just be a cluster of sprockets—it is the deciding factor between winning and losing.
At Team Sixweel, we refuse to follow the industry's obsession with "weight savings at all costs." We believe a top-tier cassette must be built upon a strict engineering pyramid: Mechanical stability is the baseline, shift-experience optimization is the pursuit, absolute rigidity is the core—and weight reduction is simply the natural reward when everything else is flawlessly executed.
Millisecond Shift Response: Zero Tweaking, Blue Factory-Level Efficiency
On the racecourse, a millisecond delay can mean missing the decisive breakaway.
• Conquering the 1T Shift Gap: When the tooth difference between adjacent gears is just , the margin for error is razor-thin. Sixweel re-engineered the sprocket profiles based on material characteristics with micron-level precision, achieving instantaneous upshifts and downshifts that rival the crispness and efficiency of industry giants (Shimano).
• Eliminating Gear-Specific Lag: Every shift position has undergone extensive data logging across dozens of real-world, extreme scenarios. It delivers flawless performance right out of the box—no more tedious rear derailleur micro-adjustments just to compensate for a single laggy gear.
Split-Sprocket Design: "Zero-Loss" Under High-Wattage Sprints
While traditional Monoblock (one-piece CNC) structures shave grams, they often compromise the intricate CNC machining required on the back of the sprockets for high-load shifting.
• Complex Downshift Ramps: Sixweel utilizes an innovative split-sprocket architecture for the smaller cogs. This allows us to machine highly complex downshift ramps on the back of every single sprocket, ensuring the chain glides down like silk.
• Integrated High-Rigidity Spacers: The installation thickness of each high-rigidity small cog inherently includes the spacer width. Under high-wattage, high-torque shifting, this structure minimizes cog flexing, locking in every single watt of your power and eliminating energy loss.
The 30T Safety Redline: Aluminum Only Where It Belongs Chasing weight savings by blindly using aluminum on smaller cogs or the entire cassette is irresponsible to rider safety. • The Limit of Racing Safety: Through long-term track testing and data collection, we identified that 30t is the absolute threshold for aluminum to withstand competitive racing impacts while maintaining a balanced lifespan. • Hybrid Material & Custom Riveting: Consequently, we reserve lightweight aluminum exclusively for sprockets ≥30t. The one-piece steel/titanium core is permanently bonded to the aluminum large sprocket using proprietary, heavy-duty rivets.
